How to Upgrade a RAM on my Lenovo G570 Laptop?

Step: 3 Remove the OLD RAM


  • The inside of the laptop can be seen clearly now. The RAM must be located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  • Remove the two little clips on both sided to withdraw the RAM. Be cautious so you don’t damage anything.


Step: 4 Inserting new RAM


  • Put the new RAM on an angle into the slot. Ensure that the pins are aligned with the slot.

  • Now, push the clips on their sides to secure the RAM on its place.


Step: 5 Inserting second stick


  • Insert the second stick of RAM on an angel into another slot while making sure that the pins are aligned again.

  • Now, follow the same procedure as done in the previous step.


Step: 6 Put the back cover


  • Once it is done, put your laptop back together.

  • Place the casing and align it to its place.

  • Screw the casing and make sure they are tightly screwed.


Step: 7 Turn on your computer


  • Power on the Lenovo laptop and make sure it is working well.

  • Ensure that the memory has been upgraded successfully.

  • Check the same by going to Computer> Properties> System> Installed RAM If it shows the exact amount of memory that you have installed then congratulations! You’re done now.
